David Koch

Senior Pastor


David became the senior pastor of South Raleigh Bible Church in January 2007.  David came to know the Lord as His Savior while attending a Bible camp as a child.  He later competed in Bible quizzing programs, memorizing whole books of the Bible for competition.  His love for the Word of God grew and he began teaching children and adult classes in his young 20's. He later became a staff member at the large Bible teaching church he attended, which ended up leading to his desire to pursue the pastorate. He attended the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, CA to prepare for ministry and graduated in 2000.

David has a strong commitment to teaching the whole counsel of God's word and encouraging the church body to walk in obedience to the truth found therein.  He takes seriously the command to Timothy in II Tim 4:1-5, "Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction." Pastor David also loves to minister to the men in the body and meets with each of them regularly to counsel, answer Bible questions and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.

He is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Donna.  They have four adult children and 8 wonderful grandchildren.

Terry Moore

Pastor / Elder

Terry came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior during a time of sickness when God showed him his need for salvation. He felt a call to ministry as a pastor and attended Fruitland Bible College and Andersonville Theological Seminary.  Since then, he has served as a Senior Pastor in Louisburg, N.C. and in North Dakota.  He currently teaches adult Sunday School and fills the pulpit regularly at South Raleigh Bible Church.

Terry has a driving desire to accurately teach and preach the Word of God. One of his favorite passages from the bible commands,  “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” (II Tim. 2:15)

Terry loves the body of Christ and loves to encourage their strength and growth in the Lord. He loves music and has enjoyed leading others in worship to the Lord.

Terry and his wife Pattie have seen God bless their marriage greatly. They have developed a deeper love for God and each other as they have grown in their walk with the Lord over many years together! God has blessed them with one son.
